The Novasmile story began 25 years ago.

Dr. Joaquín Orts, one of the first orthodontists in Alicante province, opened a specialist centre that was the only one offering orthodontic treatment in the centre of Alicante. For many years he treated patients from all over the province, including Alicante, San Vicente, San Juan, Jijona, Santa Pola, Elche, Villajoyosa, Benidorm and Altea, giving them a lovely, healthy smile.

Dentists José López and María Orquín became part of this extensive tradition and experience in orthodontics in 2004, forming a new generation of practicians and bringing with them fresh energy and groundbreaking techniques that allow us to offer our patients the very latest in orthodontic care.

This growth has enabled us to include new techniques such as lingual orthodontics and invisible braces, orthodontic treatments for adults, orthodontic treatments combined with orthognathic surgery and faster, more comfortable orthodontic work…

To provide a better service to our patients in Marina Baixa, we recently opened our second clinic, in Finestrat, opposite the La Marina shopping centre.
